Data is collected to enable the App’s functionality, to personalize your experience, and to help us understand how to improve the App.
To access the App, you need to create an account using Apple Sign-In with the option to hide your e-mail. Your account is then assigned a random unique user id that is linked to your data, and protects your data behind strict authentication rules. We may collect:
User-provided information: you may create a variety of data that we collect, such as your dashboards and settings preferences, your user feedback, and any information you give us when you correspond with us.
Automatically collected information: when you access Koriu, we or our data processors may collect certain information such as your unique user id, usage of the app, Internet Protocol address (”IP address”), and device OS.

Koriu utilizes various Firebase services provided by Google LLC (”Firebase”) such as:
Authentication: Account registration and authentication. Firebase Authentication generates and stores your unique user id for authentication purposes. It is paired with Apple Sign In, which collects your e-mail (note that Apple provides you with the option to hide your e-mail).
Firestore: Data persistence across sessions and devices is powered by Firestore, including a cache on device for offline capabilities. Firestore collects a “Firebase User Agent”, which is a bundle of information about the device, OS, app bundle ID and developer platform. This “user agent” enables the Cloud functionality, but it does not access your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA).
Cloud Messaging: If you opt to receive push notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging may collect device tokens to facilitate message delivery.
In GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) terms, A Bunch Of Humans is the “data controller”, whereas Firebase is a “data processor” that provides IT solutions for us on the Cloud.
In CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) terms, we are a “business”, and Firebase is a “service provider”.
